ALTON — Maine State Police are investigating a fatal head-on crash that occurred Tuesday morning on Route 16 near Alton Grocery. The crash happened at approximately 10 a.m. when a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu driven by 42-year-old Matthew Parsons of LaGrange crossed the centerline while traveling southbound and struck a northbound 2011 Buick Regal.
