Alexandria Fire Department hosts open house for Fire Prevention Week

ALEXANDRIA — The Alexandria Fire Department held an open house as part of National Fire Prevention Week on Monday, Oct. 6. The event took place at the fire station and featured cash door prizes, refreshments and demonstrations about fire safety, as well as children's activities.
