Akeley to discount emailed water bills

The Akeley City Council voted to incentivize customers to pay their sewer and water bills by email with a $1 discount. At the Wednesday, June 11 meeting, City Clerk-Treasurer Kristi Kath said the discount would save the city money on postage. She said she would continue looking into moving city bills online.
