Actor Noel Clarke pleads not guilty to six sexual offences
The British actor denied charges involving five women as the case moves to Southwark Crown Court next month.
On Wednesday, actor Noel Clarke appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court in London and pleaded not guilty to six sexual offense charges involving alleged offenses between 2007 and 2016.
Metropolitan Police and CPS London investigations led to the charges, which involve five women and include two counts of sexual assault, three of voyeurism, and one of exposure.
Detective Superintendent Mike Cagney said the women "continue to receive support from specially trained officers," while prosecutors established sufficient evidence to bring the case to court in the public interest.
Clarke's next court appearance is scheduled for November 18 at Southwark Crown Court, where the case will proceed following the initial magistrates hearing.
Known for roles in 'Doctor Who,' 'Kidulthood,' and 'Adulthood,' Clarke previously lost a libel case against Guardian News in September regarding sexual assault allegations from April 2021 onward.
