ACT Greens slam government over surge in public housing waitlist

The ACT Greens have accused the Labor Government of failing to address Canberra’s housing crisis, after Budget Estimates revealed a 14 per cent per cent increase in the public housing waiting list over six months. The housing waiting list increased from 2,975 in November 2024 to 3,402 in June 2025, figures disclosed during questioning by the Greens show.
