OLAF (European Anti-Fraud Office) also considered the structure of the Balatonfüred research center, in which Ákos Hadházy filed a report regarding the use of EU funding, to be confusing. OLAF concluded its investigation with a financial recommendation, which in practice could mean the recovery of the funding.

On paper, it's a "center for researching post-stroke rehabilitation," but in reality it's an apartment building. The EU would now demand the funding back.
