Pedestrian hit and killed while crossing Milwaukee street

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – A pedestrian is dead after they were struck by a car while crossing the street on Milwaukee’s lower east side. The 62-year-old was hit by a driver near Astor and Ogden around 6:39pm Wednesday, later dying at a hospital. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
