ZF Agropower. The Port of Constanta is our gateway to the world. Farmers are the first to adapt to climate change, and the authorities are following them with a 230 million euro investment project to improve navigation conditions on the Danube, ready in 2

Summary by ZF.ro
Climate change, especially drought in agriculture, has been the biggest challenge for farmers in the last five years. But the effects of the weather have not been limited to the fields, but have also affected logistics and transport, from railways to transport on the Danube. Over 10 million tons of grain leave Romania annually through the port of Constanta, most of the harvest being destined for export, and at times low flows have led to delays.
