Kiev would give Washington operation of the Zaporiyia nuclear plant
Kiev. The President of Ukraine, Volodymir Zelensky, stated that he will not “discuss” the sale of his nuclear plants to the United States, including Zaporiyia, but opened the possibility for Washington to operate it if it recovers it from Russian control and restores it, and asked the European Union (EU) to maintain sanctions on Moscow until it withdraws from its country.
