A nurse suffered a traffic accident on Sunday night after leaving her shift at the Río Piedras Medical Center. The 22-year-old, identified as Jeira Negrón Román, was allegedly tired of having 17 patients assigned, which caused her to fall asleep on the way and impact a pole. After the crash she was transported to the same hospital where she works and remains in the trauma area.
