Chef Yannick Alleno, a great French gastronomy that brings together 17 Michelin stars among all its restaurants, holds that Christian Dior (1905-1957) was “a consummate gourmet.” “If he knew so much about vegetables, plants and seasons it was because eating was his absolute priority,” says Alleno, who has just taken over Monsieur Dior, the restaurant of the maison’s flagship boutique in Paris.
