Workshop delves into seaweed foraging

The Explore North Coast Sea Kayaking Club will host a “Seaweed Foraging” workshop July 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Humboldt Bay Social Club on New Navy Base Road, Samoa. Participants will learn how to identify, harvest, preserve and prepare a variety of local seaweeds. This is a hands-on preparing and eating event.
