Wilmon Abram was born on April 24, 1937, to Carrie B. Abram and Samuel Abram Jr. in Pearl River County. He accepted Christ at an early age at White Chapel Baptist Church and in later years he worshipped at New Welcome Baptist Church. He completed his education at Globe Academy.
