- The Army identified Cpt. Rebecca M. Lobach as the third soldier who died in a helicopter collision with an American Airlines jet near Reagan National Airport in D.C. On Wednesday.
- Cpt. Lobach served as an Army aviation officer since July 2019 and was a distinguished military graduate in ROTC at the University of North Carolina.
- Her family described her as a "bright star in all our lives" and requested privacy as they grieve her loss.
- The other two victims were Ryan Austin O’Hara, 28, from Lilburn, Georgia, and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Loyd Eaves, 39, from Great Mills, Maryland.
