The White Crow 2025 award was received by Bohdana Hromádková, Klára Hudáková and Veronika Němcová as symbolic representatives of the management, employees of the SNG and cultural movements, psychiatrist Anton Heretik and Otto Šimko, a long-time journalist who survived the Holocaust and was also a partisan.
For the eighteenth time, the organizers have solemnly presented the White Crow Awards for civic courage and defense of the public good to three inspiring stories. All stories are united by great relevance and value messages for the current challenges we face. At a time when these pillars have become the subject of concentrated political weakening, we perceive the actions and stories of the laureates as vital for society.
The White Crow Award for civic courage and advocacy of the public good was presented on Tuesday evening for the eighteenth time.
