Two suspects have been arrested and charged with drug trafficking after allegedly bring caught in the act by Wetaskiwin RCMP officers on July 9.

On July 9, Wetaskiwin RCMP observed two known drug dealers leaving the town. The Wetaskiwin Crime Reduction and General Investigation Section were alerted, and surveillance of the alleged dealers were trailed as they travelled to a residence in Thorsby and interacted with an individual outside of the residence.
