The communities of Hopkinsville and Cadiz are bidding a mournful farewell to one of their own, as former Christian County Commonwealth’s Attorney W.E. “Petey” Rogers III has passed away. Rogers passed at the age of 88 at his home in Cadiz, where he was a devoted member of Cadiz Methodist Church—he sang with the choir and assisted with vacation bible school. He was a proud alum of Vanderbilt University, where he graduated from law school in 1962.…
