José Luis Alguacil, Councillor for the Environment of Guadalajara City Council, presented Monday to the journalists the beginning of the cleaning work on the right bank of the Henares River, which began last week. It is a long-awaited performance, needed long before the flood of March rains, after more than six years without such interventions. It is estimated that between 200 and 250 tons of vegetable waste will be removed on that shore.
