Pickleball courts open for play at Luther Burbank Park

With dry weather on the city’s side, contractors were able to complete resurfacing and striping work a bit ahead of schedule on the Luther Burbank Park pickleball courts. The eight courts were opened for play on June 9 and have been packed. Watson Park Trail is one step closer to a batch of three new pickleball courts, following the Sunset Hills Board of Aldermen’s approval of a contract with construction company Vision Civil Construction at its June 10 meeting.
