Volleyball: Willmar Cardinals go 1-1 at St. Michael tourney

ST. MICHAEL — The Willmar Cardinals went 1-1 Friday on the first night of the Volleyball Fall Classic. Day 2 gets underway at 8 a.m. Saturday. Willmar lost to Byron and beat Elk River. The Cardinals’ lost to the Bears 27-25, 29-27 to end a six-match winning streak. Against the Elks, Willmar won 25-20 and 25-21.
