The court of Vilanova i la Geltrú (Garraf) has partially dismissed the lawsuit filed by Rosa Peral against Netflix, in which she alleged a violation of the right to honor due to the series El cuerpo en llamas, based on the so-called “crime of the Guàrdia Urbana”. At the beginning of October, Rosa Peral, sentenced to 25 years in prison for the 'urban guard crime', filed a lawsuit before the Vilanova i la Geltrú Court of First Instance, considering that Netflix's 'The body on fire' series, based on this case that led her to prison, violated her right to honor, to her own image and to the privacy of her and her eldest daughter.
