Vermillion officials take next steps on solar farm project

NEWPORT, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)-- The first solar energy farm in Vermillion County is one step closer to becoming a reality after the commissioners voted to approve a number of agreements on Tuesday.  The project looks to bring solar panels to part of the Vermillion Rise Mega Park, an industrial site that’s about 7200 acres, according to Tim Yocum, the president of the commissioners.
