Kings of Leon Cancel Tour Dates After Lead Singer’s ‘Freak Accident’
- Kings of Leon have called off ten scheduled performances across the UK and Europe after lead vocalist Caleb Followill suffered a foot injury in late May 2025.
- The injury happened during a play incident with his children, leading to emergency surgery in Nashville and an expected eight-week recovery period.
- All scheduled festival headline shows across the UK and Europe in June and July, including Blackweir Live in Cardiff on June 29 and Lytham Festival on July 2, were canceled.
- Followill said on Instagram, “It's a big bummer man, we were so excited,” and the band noted he cannot travel or perform during recovery under expert orthopaedic care.
- As a result, Lytham Festival will run one day shorter with refunds offered to ticket holders, and Kings of Leon will resume activities once Followill recovers.
