CANANDAIGUA — City police arrested a local man Sunday in connection with threats that were made toward the Christkindl Dance at the Granger Homestead Friday. The event was canceled because of the threats.

An Upstate New York man has been arrested after allegedly sending a violent threat to a holiday event.WROC reports Michael J. Keitz, 56, of Canandaigua, was taken into custody at the Ontario County Jail on a charge of making a “terroristic threat.” Keitz is accused of emailing the Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum, threatening violence and forcing the museum to cancel its Christkindl Dinner Dance.
