Now the first leaf plate worm has been discovered in Västerbotten – the find was made in Umeå. The invasive species did not have time to spread – thanks to preventive work. – It was managed correctly and the plants were quarantined so no worm got out into the wild, says Linda Backlund at the County Administrative Board.
