- The first convoy, carrying 1,212 sets of remains, reached the designated exchange location on Saturday; however, representatives from Ukraine did not arrive and reportedly declined to accept the bodies, citing various unusual reasons.
- Russia’s chief negotiator, Vladimir Medinsky, stated that Kyiv had received a list of 640 wounded and young detainees intended for exchange, but he called on the Ukrainian side to strictly comply with the agreed timetable and ensure dignified burials.
- The exchange process has been postponed indefinitely or until next week amid denials by Ukraine and accusations from Russia that Kyiv is obstructing the return and concealing military losses.
