The Polish Air Force has put its air defense forces on maximum alert. Polish and allied fighter jets have been scrambled. Ukraine faced another major air attack overnight, involving drones as well as ballistic missiles and flat-track missiles. One of the drones penetrated over Lithuania in the morning.
For the second time on the morning of July 28, an air alert was declared throughout Ukraine.
Polish and allied aircraft were activated this morning to ensure the security of Polish airspace after Russia launched missile strikes targeting western Ukraine, near the border with Poland, the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces said.
