- On June 26, Child Abuse Squad detectives charged two childcare employees at Start Strong Early Learning Centre in South Wentworthville, after injuries caused during two separate incidents, police say.
- Following a report by the centre director, detectives began investigating after the centre director reported the alleged assault to authorities, involving injuries during two separate incidents on the same day.
- At least one incident was caught on camera, police said, with injuries during two separate instances on the same day.
- Both women are due to appear in Blacktown Local Court on August 27.
- Community members should report any suspicions to authorities, as two workers were terminated from the centre after the report was made.
