‘Twilight on the Battlefield’ event to take place at Fallen Timbers – BG Independent News

From WATERVILLE HISTORICAL SOCIETY The Fallen Timbers Battlefield Preservation Commission and Waterville Historical Society invite the public to “Twilight on the Battlefield.” This event takes place on Saturday, July 11, from 6 – 9 p.m., at the Fallen Timbers Battlefield, located at 4949 Jerome Road, in Maumee. On the walk around the battlefield, a flat one-and-a-half mile trail, visitors will be accompanied by a tour guide who will tell about the battle and answer questions. Along the way, there will be re-enactors in their full regalia who will bring a bit of “living history” to the experience. Tours will leave from the Visitors’ Center every 20 minutes. For adults, a $20 donation is requested. Kids 17 and younger are free with a paid adult. To reserve a time visit https://www.watervillehistory.org/twilight-on-the-battlefield-1.
