Centre Party MP and former Minister of Economic Affairs Mika Lintilä is astonished by the decision of Pääkaupunkiseudun Kaupunkiliikenne Oy to order new trams for Helsinki and Vantaa from Poland. The domestic factory was left to rot on the shore, and Lintilä sees a “completely incomprehensible” aspect to the procurement.
According to Vilhelm Junnila, the fact that tram procurement in Vantaa and Helsinki is being diverted to Poland at the expense of Finnish workers is a blow to Finns.
