Turkish FM to meet Zelenskyy, other officials in Ukraine

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has said he plans to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and other Ukrainian officials in Kyiv.

Turkey is the ideal mediator to promote peace talks in the three-year-old war, according to the Turkish Foreign Minister. Hakan Fidan stressed that Ankara has been trying to stop the Russia-Ukraine war since the beginning and has made concrete proposals for a ceasefire.
