UNITED STATES, JUN 30 – TSA's 'Serve with Honor, Travel with Ease' initiative offers waived or discounted PreCheck fees plus dedicated lanes at 10 airports near military bases, improving travel for thousands of service members.
- On Tuesday, July 1, TSA introduced a new initiative featuring dedicated security lanes at ten major U.S. airports near military bases to provide a smoother screening experience for active-duty service members.
- The initiative aims to honor the military community by easing travel through free PreCheck for Gold Star families, discounts for military spouses, and expedited lanes for service members.
- The program includes free TSA PreCheck for disabled veterans with specific service-connected disabilities, continuation of complimentary access for qualifying uniformed personnel, and allowances for children to accompany eligible travelers.
- Ha Nguyen McNeill, TSA’s Acting Administrator, emphasized the agency’s dedication to supporting service members and their families through expanded partnerships aimed at simplifying and increasing access to TSA PreCheck enrollment.
