- Recovered remains were taken to a forensic facility for examination before burial at Abu Kammash cemetery, with local authorities and forensic teams supervising transfers between Tripoli and Zuwara.
- These recovery efforts form part of Libya's ongoing humanitarian operations, while the International Organization for Migration said a mid-September fire killed at least 50 on a vessel carrying 75 Sudanese refugees.
