Tragic Sunday: Motorcycle driver dies in traffic accident

The driver of a passenger vehicle, who was approaching from the opposite direction in Lopaca and was turning left onto a side access road, blocked the path of the motorcyclist.

According to police, the accident occurred in Lopaca.

In Lopaca this afternoon there was a car accident in which a 55-year-old motorcycle driver died. The motorist was driving on a regional road from the direction of Gorica pri Slivnica towards Prevorje, when the driver of a personal vehicle from the opposite direction at the turn to the left blocked his path, said the Celje Police Department.

A motorcyclist missed a traffic jam on the A2 on Monday – and crashed. Police and rescue personnel were in action.
