Two arrests were made after methamphetamine was located during a traffic stop on Highway 71 near La Grange on Friday, March 20, according to Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek. Sheriff Korenek reported that at approximately 11:52 a.m., Fayette County Sheriff’s Office Drug Interdiction Investigator David Smith stopped a 2019 white Toyota Corolla passenger car on State Highway 71 westbound for multiple traffic violations.
