SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- A tractor-trailer caught fire following a crash involving another tractor-trailer at the Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge Tunnel on Thursday morning. State police say it happened at approximately 11:15 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge Tunnel. Courtesy: Virginia State Police The crash remains under investigation.
