El Paso will be well represented at the 2025 Texas UIL high school state track and field meet May 1-3 in Austin. Fifteen El Paso athletes qualified for state in Classes 4A, 5A and 6A. FARGO — Wadena-Deer Creek’s Grant Nelson ran a second-place 4:33.27 in the 1600 and Tanner Collins finished seventh in the pole vault to lead the Wolverines to 21st place Saturday, April 26, at the Fargo Elite Meet.
