Starting in 2026, Toyota’s top-selling RAV4 SUV will be available only in hybrid or plug-in hybrid versions, aligning with its $13.9B battery plant in Liberty. The move supports increased EV output and comes as the Triad facility nears 2,000 employees, with shipments set to begin in June.
