Toyota is getting ready for production in Ontario of the all-new 2026 RAV4, which will come only as a hybrid; and those preparations will include expansions to assemble the hybrid battery packs for it. That’s according to a report from Automotive News Canada, which spoke with Scott MacKenzie, director of corporate and external affairs for Toyota Canada and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada (TMMC).
