A Indigenous organization in Toronto celebrated the grand opening on Thursday of its new health care facility that brings together traditional Indigenous healing and Western medicine under one roof.

The vision of the late Joe Hester, who had worked for decades to centre traditional methods of health care for Indigenous people in Toronto, came to fruition on Thursday on Cherry Street.
