Kasper's NHL season ends with failure against Toronto
With a defeat, Detroit Red Wings – not qualified for the play-off – ended the ground run in the North American NHL Hockey League on Thursday. Toronto Maple Leafs won in the extension with 4:3. Austrian Marco Kasper only contributed one assist to the Red Wings. Overall, the 21-year-old Carinthian striker scored 19 goals and 18 assists in his first NHL year. He is now expected to strengthen Austria at the World Cup from 9 May in Stockholm.
