Tornado Watch in effect for El Paso County; funnel spotted south of Colorado Springs
Small hail and a severe thunderstorm warning and a funnel cloud have punctuated another cloudy day in the Pikes Peak region Friday. The National Weather Service issued a 15-minute severe thunderstorm warning around 2 p.m. warning that a severe thunderstorm was located over southeastern Colorado Springs, moving east at 15 mph. The NWS warned of hail, up to a half-dollar in size was possible.
