Progressive Slovakia organized a protest on Freedom Square in Bratislava against the consolidation measures of the Robert Fico government, which the opposition describes as impoverishing employees and tradespeople. An estimated 17,000 to 18,000 people participated in the protest.
18,000 people came to protest against Fico's government in Bratislava. The demonstration was organized by the opposition consisting of Progressive Slovakia, SaS, KDH and Democrats.

A protest against government beggarly practices was held at Náměstí Slobody. Michal Šimečka, Branislav Gröhling, František Mikloško and Jaroslav Naď took the stage and called for a united opposition against Robert Fico's government. Gröhling also announced a planned general strike on November 17. The rally was marked by solidarity and determination to stand up to policies that, according to the speakers, burden ordinary people.
According to Michal Šimeček, 18,000 people participated in the protest in Bratislava.
