- Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare Muhammad Pate highlighted that reforms have revitalised 3,026 primary healthcare centres nationwide, while 43,417 women and newborns were transported through rural emergency services between October 2024 and March 2026.
- World Bank Country Director for Nigeria Matthew Verghis emphasized that collaboration across government levels has strengthened healthcare access, with expanded cash transfers reaching 15 million vulnerable households.
- These investments anchor the Nigeria Health Sector Renewal Investment Initiative, focusing on strengthening governance, accountability, and equitable healthcare access to develop the healthcare value chain and enhance community resilience.
