- Tinubu vowed continued federal support, saying he supports Kefas and urged Taraba residents to rally behind the governor to succeed.
- On security and governance, Kefas pledged continued support for security agencies through collaboration, intelligence sharing and inter-agency networking, while Tinubu urged Adamawa and Bauchi to join the APC.
