SOUTH AFRICA, AUG 7 – Kagiso Rabada calls for focus on the upcoming six-match white-ball series against Australia to prepare for the 2026 T20 World Cup and 2027 ODI World Cup, starting Sunday.
- Amid their post-victory period, Rabada stated on Thursday that South Africa won’t forget their WTC final win over Australia but it’s time to move on.
- South Africa’s 26-year wait for a major ICC title ended with their WTC final victory in June, Rabada said it’s time to move on from past setbacks in World Cups.
- At Lord’s, Rabada recorded match figures of 9 for 110, his first appearance since the WTC final when Aiden Markram scored 136.
- A six-match white-ball series begins in Darwin on Sunday, with Rabada leading South Africa’s attack in three Twenty20 clashes and three one-day Internationals.
