FIREFIGHTERS RESPONDING TO MULTIPLE SMOKE REPORTS ACROSS THE FOREST

July 23, 2026 4:00 a.m.   Firefighters are responding to multiple smoke reports across the Umpqua National Forest following thunderstorms on Wednesday afternoon and evening. A UNF post said two fires have been confirmed so far. Both fires are being managed for full suppression.
