Jeremy Clarkson set to be replaced by TikTok star as Grand Tour host
- Jeremy Clarkson, 64, is being replaced as the host of Prime Video's The Grand Tour, which he co-hosted with Richard Hammond and James May for over two decades after also hosting BBC's Top Gear.
- Following the trio's decision to step away after their final special, 'One For The Road' filmed in Zimbabwe and Botswana, Prime Video is continuing the show with a new team.
- TikTok trainspotting sensation Francis Bourgeois, whose real name is Luke Magnus Nicolson and who has amassed 3.3 million TikTok followers and 2.4 million Instagram followers, is reportedly a prime candidate to front a potential new season of The Grand Tour.
- According to sources, Francis, a mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Nottingham who previously worked for Rolls-Royce, is seen as a 'big noise online' whom Amazon producers hope to bring into the mainstream.
- While Amazon declined to comment, four retrospective specials featuring Clarkson, Hammond, and May are scheduled, beginning with 'The Not Very Grand Tour: The Power and the Glory' on April 18th, 2025, and Hammond stated, "It will be carrying on," looking forward to watching someone else host.
