Located in Gatika, just 20 minutes from Bilbao, the castle of Butron rises majestically on rocks crowning the hill that populates a century-old forest. Lifted on the ruins of a 13th-XIV century tower, it was rebuilt by Francisco de Cubas and González Montes, known as the Marquis of Cubas, following nineteenth-century opinions, reinterpreting the Romanesque, Gothic and neomudejar style.
