Three fire crews were called to reports of a field fire on the outskirts of town - here’s why.

Brockton Fire - Northern Plains Independent

A small fire south of U.S. Highway 2 in Brockton was called in to Roosevelt County dispatch around 3:30 p.m. April 6. Volunteer fire departments from Poplar, Froid and Culbertson were paged out to the scene. Mike Olson told the Northern Plains Independent that the fire was caused by humans.
